Meet Ara Mascarenas, LMHC
(She/Her)
I'm a bilingual Latinx Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida specializing in teen and young adult therapy, along with parenting support. As a teen and young adult expert, I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. I also provide parenting counseling to help families strengthen communication and connection. I specialize in supporting families through divorce and major life changes.
I’m no different from the clients I see. Like everyone else, I'm human. I've had both wonderful and challenging experiences that have shaped who I am and how I help.
When people ask me why I became a therapist, the truth is that this job chose me. I am grateful to be allowed into my clients' worlds, to hold space for their suffering, and to make meaning together.
