Meet Ara Mascarenas, LMHC
(She/Her)
I'm a bilingual Latinx Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I specialize in working with Children, Teens, and Adults who have ongoing challenges with depression and anxiety, attachment and trauma, eating disorders, and OCD. My goal is to help you find yourself and discover all your potential.
I’m no different from the clients I see. Like everyone else, I'm human. I've had both wonderful and challenging experiences that have shaped who I am and how I help.
When people ask me why I became a therapist, the truth is that this job chose me. I am grateful to be allowed into my clients' worlds, to hold space for their suffering, and to make meaning together.
