common questions

Therapy provides a supportive environment where you can openly discuss your concerns. As a
therapist, Ill guide you through this process, helping you understand and navigate your
feelings, behaviors, and thoughts. The goal is to empower you to overcome challenges, develop
coping strategies, and improve your overall well-being. I have various therapeutic interventions
that help you achieve your goals, whether that be CBT, solution- focused therapy, Motivational
Interviewing, art activities, mindfulness, and internal family systems.

Each therapy session lasts 60 minutes. For children, the sessions are designed to be 50 minutes
long, with an additional 10 minutes at the end dedicated to providing feedback to parents.

I currently do not accept insurance. While this might seem unusual, many therapists choose not
to accept insurance to ensure the privacy of their clients, avoid limitations on the types and
lengths of treatments dictated by insurance providers, and prevent the requirement of a
mental health diagnosis for reimbursement. I am happy to provide a receipt that you can
submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement.

Please reach out by phone (954.850.6633) or email (aramascarenasmhc@gmail.com) for a free
phone consultation to discuss your therapeutic needs. After this consultation, we can schedule
our first appointment. Sessions can be conducted in person or virtually through a secured
platform, depending on your preference.

Therapy is a personal journey and can be beneficial to anyone seeking personal growth, facing
life challenges, or struggling with mental health concerns. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed,
or want to understand yourself better, therapy might be right for you. During our initial phone
consultation, we can discuss whether my therapeutic approach aligns with your needs.

The number of sessions varies greatly depending on your unique needs and goals. Some people
find relief in as few as 5-10 sessions, while others continue for several months or even years.
We will regularly review your progress and goals to ensure you’re getting the most out of
therapy.

You can find us at 5300 W Hillsboro Blvd, Coconut Creek, FL 33073. Looking forward to meeting
you and supporting your therapeutic journey.
